One Eye
ONE EYE is a photo exhibition as a fundraising campaign for I CHALLENGE MYSELF, a not-for-profit helping young people lead healthier and more productive lives through fitness challenges and leadership development. Portraits by JETA B will show how the nutrition and cycling program of I CHALLENGE MYSELF has changed students’ lives.
“Photographs represent students participating in I CHALLENGE MYSELF program keeping ONE EYE on health – ONE EYE on development. I want everyone to see how these high school students challenge themselves. I want people, corporations and communities to see potential in this program and support youth to live up to their full potential,” – says JETA B. ONE EYEwill open on Sep 20 at Mt. Sinai Hospital Guggenheim Pavilion, 6-8pm. RSVP HERE. During the month of October, the exhibition will tour the four public high schools in the Bronx and Manhattan where the program is active. Galleries and corporations can support the not-for-profit by exhibiting ONE EYE in their lobbies and atriums for a donation.
These donations will fund I CHALLENGE MYSELF 2013 program. “Join I CHALLENGE MYSELF in the fight against childhood obesity and keep ONE EYE on the healthy future of NYC youth. Just $2000 brings the ONE EYE exhibition to your company’s lobby or atrium for a week, a month, or an event. Your contribution will enable 80 public high students to train and complete. They accepted our challenge. So can you,” says Ana Reyes, Founder and Director of I CHALLENGE MYSELF.
