Autonomia2 – a nice story of inclusion

Siamo molto felici di presentare il reportage che ha vinto la Menzione Speciale Shoot4Change nell'ambito della Terza edizione del premio fotografico internazionale REVELA (vinto l'anno scorso, lo ricorderete, da Tres Tres Tres). Anche quest'anno siamo stati molto orgogliosi di essere partner di un festival come Revela che, unico nel suo genere, premia non solo il fotografo ma anche la storia raccontata e l'Associazione affiancata dal fotografo.

Autonomia2 racconta la storia di cinque giovani immigrati che stanno partecipando a un corso di formazione come assistenti personali per le persone con disabilità.

Il progetto è portato avanti da Casal Dels Infants A.S.B. - in Catalogna - ed  è rivolto ad assistere ragazzi e ragazze tra i 18 e 23, che sono in una situazione di alta vulnerabilità sociale, senza famiglia, con una rete sociale debole e che necessitano di assistenza intensiva quotidiana.

E' una bella storia, come quelle che piacciono a noi di S4C. Una storia che parla di immigrazione e di vera inclusione attraverso programmi di formazione professionale.

Sono immagini positive di chi arriva in un Paese straniero, si sente accolto e vuole imparare un lavoro per aiutare - a sua volta - chi è in difficoltà.

Trabajamos desde el esfuerzo y el compromiso de los jóvenes para transformar su situación de partida . El proceso hacia la autonomía contempla 3 fases (acogida , vivienda y finalista) por donde pasan hasta 90 jóvenes al año.

We are very happy to present the reportage which won the Special Mention Shoot4Change as part of the Third edition of the international photographic Award REVELA (won last year by the story "Tres Tres Tres").

Also this year we were very proud to be partnering with a festival like REVELA that - only one of its kind - recognizes not only the photographer but also the story told and the Association backed by him.

Autonomia2 tells the story of five young immigrants who are participating in a training course as personal assistants for people with disabilities.

The project is carried out by Casal dels Infants ASB - Catalonia - and is intended to assist boys and girls between 18 and 23 who are in a situation of high social vulnerability, without a family, a social network with weak connections and in need of intensive daily care.

It 's a beautiful story, such as those that we like at S4C. A story about immigration and real inclusion through vocational training programs.

Positive images of those who arrive in a foreign country, feel welcomed and want to learn a job to help - in their turn - those in need.

El reportaje cuenta la historia de 5 jóvenes inmigrantes que están participando en un curso de formación como asistentes personales para personas con movilidad reducida.

El proyecto va dirigido a chicos y chicas de entre 18 y 23 años , que se encuentran en situación de alta vulnerabilidad social , sin referentes familiares en Cataluña , con una red social muy débil , y que requieren de programas de apoyo y acompañamiento intensivos e integrales para acceder a la autonomía.

Los motivamos para el cambio, potenciando sus competencias y habilidades y apoyando procesos educativos , que les permitan acceder a la red de vivienda y sostener un itinerario posterior para lograr la autonomía.
