S4C Next Generation Mozambico!

Ya empezamos las clasesssssssssssss!!!!
Di clases jueves y viernes… los jóvenes son muy activos… y además
el proyecto de ellos tambén tenian algunas cámeras así que fue
geniaaaaal!
Di composición, comentamos fotos de fotógrafos profesionales… un
poco el funcionamiento de la cámara… y ahora cada semana daremos un
tema. la próxima semana es fiesta para los jóvenes y no hay clases,
pero luego ya continuamos.
Ademas hacen un periodico mensual, aquel siitio que te conté. Esta
saliendo muy bonito. No tengo ninguna foto porque las cámaras se
quedan con ellos por el momento, pero cuando pueda las mando. lo
importante que va para frente!

Y la escuela también!!!!! ya estamos por el techooooooo!!!!!! Tengo
que hacer fotos también, aqui la tecnologia es lo último que toco…
el mail me desespera va tan lento.”

It was sent by Cristina Senserrich to Davide Camesasca (who, together with Alfons Rodriguez runs S4C Spain) and it’s about the kickstart of S4C Next Generation in Mozambique! How about that?

We launched quite some time ago a call to gather used photo equipment to be sent down to Mozambique for a Next Generation project with kids and teens.  It’s one of our S4C project for young kids and teens where we teach them how to tell stories with their cameras, giving them a chance to learn also how to express themelseves with them.

Well, long story short: after a loooooon trip from Europe to Africa, the cameras made it and Cristina (a young and talented spanish photographer) is enthusiastic to start this Shoot4Change initiative. And so are the kids!

And so are we!

We cannot wait to see the rest.
