4 Continents 4 Change in New York4Continents4Change in New York

4C4C suona bene.

Ho ricevuto all’alba (tarda serata lì) un sms da New York

Applausi a tutti

4C4C in New York City

4C4C sounds nice. 4 Continents 4 Change is the title of  Shoot4Change first exhibition in New York. The first outside of Italy.

Before dawn, earlier today, I received this text message from New York:

‘I’m sorry for the time, the opening was a big success. Many People and a beautiful setting’

(this is how it all started, remember Yelena?)

It’s nice to wake up with a message like this.

Lately I’ve thanked them every time and everywhere; but I do it here, too, once again. Thanks to all S4C NYC friends (coordinated by Yelena Futeran and Grace Roth). I’d like to mention all..Carla, Rod, Angel, Gaia, Matteo, Galina…but they are too many. Guys, you know who you are :) Thank You!

And a big big thanks to Carla Ciatto for the beautiful visual design of the exhibition and to Serafino Rescina for the great S4C Press Office. Guys, you rock!

What really surprised (but only to a certain extent, because I know those guys by now) is that within very few weeks we  managed to work all around the same table in Rome and New York.

Only, there is no Table.

S4C does not have an ‘office’ or a phisycal Head Quarter, not even a place where we usually get together on a regular basis. Yet…maybe we do not need it.

Now it’s clear that S4C is a ‘no place’ made of sensible eyes and strong will people…all united by the intention of bringing back to light hidden and forgotten stories.

A standing ovation for S4C New York.

A big applause for all!
