Help FEBA recovering surplus food to assist charitable organizations and feed people in need!

As the COVID-19 pandemic is hitting Europe hard, we are happy to support FEBA, the European Food Banks Federation, in their initiative to address the COVID-19 outbreak in Europe – recovering surplus food to assist charitable organizations and feed people in need.
FEBA (whose mission is to reduce hunger and malnutrition through the fight against food waste and the support and development of food banks in countries where they are most needed) decided to establish a Social Emergency Fund: the aim is to support European Food Banks during the COVID-19 crisis and to meet costs or financial obligations that may occur to address the social emergency in the near future.

This is a call on corporations, foundations, organizations and private citizens to join efforts and contribute to the funding of this Fund.

They need the commitment of each person for the good of all, to tackle this crisis today and tomorrow.

You can discover more on the dedicated webpage.

Moreover, FEBA published on their website the position paper “CODIV-19: the commitment of each person for the good of all”

(English version) (versione in italiano).

Thank You all for your help and support.

Stay safe and healthy!
